For admission under State
Quota, a candidate is expected to qualify
in PET conducted by Professional Examination Board,
Chhattisgarh (CGVYAPAM). Thereafter, candidates having
domicile of Chhattisgrah State are called for
counseling by Directorate of Technical Education,
Govt. of Chhattisgarh and accordingly to the
availability at the time of counseling seats are
allotted.
For admission under All India
Quota, a candidate is expected to qualify
in AIEEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi. Thereafter,
candidates are called for counseling by Directorate of
Technical Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and
accordingly to the availability at the time of
counseling seats are allotted.
For admission under
Management Quota, a candidate is expected
to qualify either in PET conducted by Professional
Examination Board, Chhattisgarh (CGVYAPAM) or AIEEE
conducted by CBSE, New Delhi. After the declaration of
results of the entrance examinations as mentioned,
advertisement is placed in Newspapers and also in the
website for admission under Management Quota.
Application forms are made downloadable from the
website. Applications thus received are scrutinized
and is finalized strictly based on merit of the
entrance examinations.
Lateral Entry Scheme
The annual intake is reserved under
Lateral Entry Scheme, as per the DTE norms
of particular session. Students are eligible to get
the admission under the
lateral entry scheme:
1. Candidates having a three years’
Diploma in the
concerned discipline with 50% marks from AICTE
recognized institutions are eligible for admission in
the respective branches directly to the 2nd year (3rd
semester) of BE programme. The students thus admitted
are required to clear foundation subjects as per the
ordinance of the CSVTU, Bhilai.
2. Candidates having a B.Sc.
degree with 50% marks from any recognized university
with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory
subjects are also eligible for admission to BE 2nd
Year directly. The students thus admitted are required
to clear foundation subjects as per the ordinance of
the CSVTU, Bhilai. |
